PSNC Briefing 101/13: A Guide to the Rural Working Group (October 2013)

PSNC is recognised by the Secretary of State for Health as the body that represents NHS pharmacy contractors.  Its representative role covers all aspects of NHS pharmaceutical services, including market entry and the terms of the community pharmacy contractual framework.  Most of PSNC’s work affects all pharmacy contractors to a greater or lesser extent, but exceptionally, its work on rural matters affects only a small number of pharmacies, that are established in rural areas.

This briefing introduces the Rural Working Group and details the work they undertake on rural issues.
