Health Promotions 2020-2021

NHS England – South West Community Pharmacy Health Promotion Programmes for 2020-2021

The terms of service for community pharmacies require that pharmacies participate in up to 6 health promotion campaigns in each calendar year. The programme for NHS England – South West for 2020-2021 is set out below and you are asked to participate in these campaigns.

All pharmacies will be asked to submit a return after each campaign confirming that the pharmacy has participated and noting the number of people who were given advice as part of the campaign. A template form will be sent to you at the beginning of each campaign.

The purpose of these returns is twofold:

  1. To provide assurance that the pharmacy is complying with this element of essential services
  2. To help demonstrate the value that community pharmacy adds in terms of the health promotion role.
