• Find out more about the GM Bowel Screening Toolkit resource
• Pick up your Bowel Screening Pharmacy campaign materials
• Finish the session by making a short plan to use your learning and effectively use your materials during Bowel Cancer Awareness month

Each pharmacy will also be able to collect a full Bowel Cancer Screening health promotion pack at the session to help support the promotion of the health campaign.

Dates scheduled for the Bowel Cancer Screening Evening Events:

Please note a light buffet will be served at 6.30pm, with training running from 7pm-9pm. Please book via the links below:

Why attend?

Bowel cancer is the UK’s fourth most common cancer and 98% of people diagnosed early survive. Despite that, only 20% of people in some parts of Greater Manchester take up their offer of bowel cancer screening. That’s why it’s one of the six mandatory public health campaigns for all Greater Manchester pharmacies in 2018.

These events will help your pharmacy deliver the campaign successfully. Participants will learn more about the screening programme and how to promote it to patients and customers; you’ll also receive a free resource pack to help you promote it in your pharmacy.
