Dementia: Top tips for your pharmacy

All Greater Manchester pharmacies need to promote dementia awareness from 21st-27th May as one of this year’s six mandatory health campaigns. We’re also encouraging all pharmacies to become dementia-friendly for your patients and customers by signing up to the Greater Manchester Dementia-Friendly Pharmacy Framework – simple steps to make services and premises more accessible to people with dementia and their carers. The framework is available as a module on PharmOutcomes.

We’ve produced these top tips – including case studies from some local pharmacies – to guide you through the process and include examples of the kinds of things that meet the criteria.
