Healthcare Together is a national provider company formed with NPA and PSNC members with the support of CCA and AIMp. It was formed to better support LPCs and their associated provider companies to help them address current and future local commissioning challenges.
Healthcare Together Newsletters
|Issue 2 – March 2017|
|Issue 1 – February 2017|
The organisation will guide LPC-supported provider companies through a range of tasks from company formation to the implementation of successful tenders. The Healthcare Together team comprises experts in the fields of pharmacy, finance and law, as well as tender writing specialists, and can provide expert support and advice.
Services currently available include advice on what type of provider company to set up, help with setting it up, finding tenders, writing them in a compelling way and even finding you the help to implement them. LPCs also benefit from receiving notifications of tenders launched in their area, via the organisation’s tender scanning service (see below).
Due to the involvement of PSNC and the NPA, this range of services is being made available to all LPCs and their associated provider companies either for free or at a competitive or discounted rate.
Healthcare Together has published a prospectus which includes details of all the services it offers, such as guidance on setting up a local provider company, tender writing and policy document templates.
LPC members can log in to the national provider company’s website (www.healthcaretogether.co.uk) to download the prospectus.
Tender scanning service
One of the key services provided by Healthcare Together is a tender scanning service that provides LPCs with automatic notification of relevant tenders in their region. LPC-supported local provider companies can also register to receive these alerts.
The details of the service, which is free of charge to LPCs and local provider companies, are set out in the Healthcare Together Prospectus.
In January 2017 a webinar was held on Healthcare Together. The webinar explained the support and advice it can provide to LPCs and associated provider companies, including supporting the establishment of local provider companies and the work needed to successfully secure a new service from a commissioner.
You can now watch a recording of the webinar on the NPA website.
