Call to Action Events
Tuesday, 21 January, 2014 6.30pm- 9pm
Other dates available - see below
NHS England’s recently launched Community Pharmacy Call to Action (CTA) is a huge opportunity for LPCs and others to influence and shape the future of NHS community pharmacy services. We cannot overstate the importance of every LPC engaging with the CTA to ensure we are making the case for the local and national development of community pharmacy services.
This should form an important piece of work for LPCs in the New Year and PSNC is offering a variety of support options to help you make the best case on behalf of your contractors.
As part of PSNC’s support for LPCs on this work, these Call to Action evening events will enable you to find out more about how your LPC can best respond to the CTA using a strong consistent core message backed up with local experiences and examples of good practice. There will also be a briefing on national activity and the chance to ask your questions about the CTA.
Who should attend?
The events are aimed primarily at the people who will be leading development of the CTA response in each LPC. This is likely to be the LPC Secretary/Chief Officer but could also be an LPC contractor member. If, in addition, there is a contractor who may be able to contribute to the evening, for example someone who has some good examples of working collaboratively with general practice or care providers, then we are happy to extend the invitation to a second person.
