LPC Change Management 2016

Tuesday, 20 September, 2016

How can you work to support change?

How can you work best with people in times of change?

As the NHS continues to change, LPCs need to be able to adapt to the changes and support contractors in changing times. This could include an LPC reorganisation, introducing new ways of working or helping contractors in a changing environment. This PSNC training seminar gives LPCs the essential skills to manage change both within and outside the LPC and demonstrates how supplementary skills such as coaching and mentoring can be used to guide people and organisations through a change process.

The day takes delegates through:

  • Understanding of the impact of change
  • Supporting and preparing for change
  • Getting buy-in
  • Managing resistance to change
  • When is coaching and mentoring needed in change management?
  • The essential skills and qualities of an effective coach and mentor when managing change
  • Communication skills to support change
  • How to support individuals struggling to cope with change
  • Handling difficult conversations: top tips

The day will be interactive with delegates having the opportunity to practice and receive feedback on their practice.
