PSNC Conference on Flu vaccination for LPCs
Tuesday, 1 April, 2014 10.30am- 3.30pm
2013 was a significant year for community pharmacy flu vaccination services: success for some LPCs and frustratingly no result for others. Either way many LPCs put in a huge amount of work and there is a lot to learn as the planning begins for the 2014 campaign.
A PSNC one-day national conference for LPCs is being held to support preparations for the 2014 flu vaccination season.
Details: The day will include (subject to availability) a speaker from NHS England on the commissioning of the service, their experience of 2013 and plans for 2014; an overview from PSNC on the national picture; and presentations from successful LPCs outlining their approach and the keys to their success. Based on the experiences of 2013 we turn to 2014 with sessions on the business case and how to sell in the service; overcoming GP resistance; marketing the service and the launch of template promotional resources; and finally how to get the involvement of contractors.
Where and when: Tuesday 1st April – London at the Meliá White House
Booking: The delegate fee is £85.
