Applications now open for the Clinical Entrepreneur Programme

March 13, 2018

NHS England has written a letter to invite pharmacy colleagues who wish to develop their entrepreneurial aspirations to apply for a place on the Clinical Entrepreneur Training Programme. The Programme was initially launched in 2016 and has already recruited over 240 doctors, dentists and healthcare scientists from a range of diverse backgrounds over the first two years. Applications are now open for the 2018 cohort.

It is jointly managed by NHS England and Health Education England and is designed to offer opportunities to develop clinical innovations and enterprises to improve patient care and support service designs.

The scheme offers many benefits including mentoring and coaching; entrepreneurial placements/internships; and facilitation of relationships and funding.

The applications portal opened on 5th March 2018 and will close on 31st March 2018. Interviews will take place in May and June in Leeds and London.
