Class 2 MHRA drug alert – Seretide Accuhaler 50mcg/250mcg inhalation powder (Glaxo Wellcome UK Ltd)

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory agency (MHRA) has issued a class 2 pharmacy-level recall, to be actioned within 48 hours, for:

Seretide Accuhaler 50mcg/250mcg inhalation powder, pack size 1 x 60 (Glaxo Wellcome UK Ltd)

PL number: PL 10949/0315

Lot number: 5K8W

Expiry date: 04/2019

Glaxo Wellcome UK Limited is recalling the above Lot of Seretide Accuhaler 50mcg/250mcg because a manufacturing issue has been identified which has resulted in a small number of units not delivering the full number of doses.

Healthcare professionals are advised to quarantine any remaining stock of this Lot and return to the original supplier for credit.
