Generic Shortages

Generic Shortages

September 14, 2017

Following inspections at Bristol and Dr Reddy’s, PSNC is aware of a number of products that are currently having shortage and pricing issues. We would like to thank those contractors who have taken the time to fill in the generic shortages form, which can be found here. We would like to encourage all contractors to report generic issues using the form on our website in the first instance, as these reports form a very important basis on which price concessions are agreed.

PSNC is currently in urgent discussions with the Department of Health regarding price concessions and wider concerns over the numerous market issues that pharmacy contractors and teams are facing.

Once the price concessions are agreed, the website will be updated and an email alert will be sent to all of our email newsletter subscribers. To signup to the newsletter, please visit
