How to pass the CSfPP assessment – part 2

January 23, 2016

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has released the second week of support materials to help pharmacy professionals complete their consultation skills for pharmacy practice (CSfPP) assessment. This is the second of a four week breakdown on how to pass the assessment, providing a range of hints and tips for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The assessment is a core competency of the Declaration of Competence system which must be completed by pharmacists who wish to carry out various locally commissioned services and the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Advanced Service.

In the second section, the learner will be expected to assess three videos presented to them by identifying whether the practice standards expected of pharmacy professionals during a consultation were demonstrated.

CPPE records show that the percentage of passes in section 1 have increased since the release of the first week of the CSfPP support programme.

The four week support course concludes with a #CSACselfie day on Thursday 4th February 2016 where successful participants are encouraged to showcase their pass certificates.
