How to pass the CSfPP assessment – part 1

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has released the first week of support materials to help pharmacy professionals complete their consultation skills for pharmacy practice (CSfPP) assessment. This is the first of a four week breakdown on how to pass the assessment, providing a range of hints and tips for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The assessment is a core competency of the Declaration of Competence system which must be completed by pharmacists who wish to carry out various locally commissioned services and the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Advanced Service.   

The first week of the programme focusses on section one of the CSfPP assessment, as this section is a common pitfall and the majority of attempts of this section result in failure. To support pharmacy professionals undertaking this section of the assessment, CPPE have provided guidance, a video tutorial and resources.

The four week support course concludes with a #CSACselfie day on Thursday 4th February 2016 where successful participants are encouraged to showcase their pass certificates.
