New CPPE e-learning on consulting with people living with dementia

January 23, 2016

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has published its latest distance learning programme, Consulting with people living with dementia.

The aim of the programme is to help and support pharmacy professionals to develop the knowledge and skills required to effectively communicate with people with dementia. The learner will be able to successfully involve people with dementia, their family members and/or carers in consultations and decisions about their treatment using effective three-way consultation approaches.

The course involves case studies and is estimated to take four hours to complete.
