New learning materials from CPPE on mental health

New learning materials from CPPE on mental health

December 29, 2017

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education has released a new brochure on mental health and will be launching an online e-course on mental health. Both are designed to improve the outcomes of people living with mental health conditions.

The brochure builds on the recent CPPE Mental health learning campaign and enables learners to further develop their knowledge and skills in the area of mental health and highlights key CPPE resources available. It can be used by any pharmacy professional in any sector of pharmacy that has an interest in developing their knowledge in this area.

The e-course is a live eight-week online programme starting on Monday 8th January and is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to support people with mental illness that they may encounter in everyday practice. This includes depression, dementia and mental illness in older people, young adults and children.
