PHE to launch Health Harm 2018 campaign – free resources now available

December 11, 2017

This January, Public Health England (PHE) will be running a Health Harms campaign to encourage smokers to quit in the new year. The national campaign launches on 29th December 2017 and will include a new TV advert to highlight the harms of smoking and urge smokers to quit.

Once again, PHE invites pharmacy teams across the country to support the campaign. There are lots of Smokefree support tools on offer to help your customers quit successfully which are designed to complement any smoking cessation activity you may have planned, or advice you are giving in January.

If you would like to support the Smokefree campaign this January, you can order a printed toolkit, free of charge, from the pharmacy order line by calling 030 0123 1019; items will be delivered within 5-7 working days.

The toolkit contains:

  • 1 x activation brief;
  • 2 x A4 posters,
  • 50 x A5 leaflets; and
  • 1 x leaflet dispenser.

Additional resources can also be downloaded or ordered from PHE’s Campaign Resource Centre.
