Summer visits with your local MPs

August 17, 2018

Parliament is currently in recess for the summer, meaning that MPs are focusing on constituency work for the next few weeks.

This presents a good time to reach out to your local politicians by inviting them to visit a pharmacy, showcasing services and demonstrating the value of the sector.

Our MP visit guidance document has been updated to include references to PSNC’s latest proposals for services to support those with long-term conditions, plus a range of flyers and infographics ahead of the flu season.

We have included a template invitation that LPCs may like to use to organise visits. We have also provided a template press release to help LPCs work with the local media to gain coverage following a visit.
