POD – NHS Prescription Ordering Direct

POD – NHS Prescription Ordering Direct

March 16, 2018

Great Yarmouth and Waveney CCG are due to go live with a new repeat prescription ordering system starting in Bungay in April.

This will roll out slowly to all Waveney practices and it will stop managed repeats through pharmacies.
The LPC is supportive of the system which helps to re-educate patients on medicines ordering. Please note that this is only in the Waveney area and there is no such system in place for the rest of Suffolk.

Information and resources:

More information including go-live dates will be available on our website soon.
