Patients are invited to have a Medicines Use Review (MUR) with a focus on chemotherapy. References are used from Macmillan, such as the Macmillan Cancer Baccup Monographs, to provide more information on chemotherapy medicines such as interactions and side effects during the MUR. Patients are encouraged to contact the pharmacist or other healthcare professionals for help if required.
Links have been established for patients with local charities, where help and support can be offered.
The pharmacy signposts using a wide range of charity material such as posters and leaflets.
