Description
This scheme aims to ensure that people who smoke tobacco have access to appropriate Nicotine Replacement Therapy products that are listed for general sales to help them stop smoking. This scheme does not apply to varenicline and buproprion that are both Prescription Only Medicines.
The vouchers are issued by the NHS Stop Smoking Service adviser who assesses the suitability of service users for the product(s), which the community pharmacy will dispense.
