Description
Please note this service is commissioned across Doncaster and Rotherham. Therefore, the following LPCs have the same stop smoking service in their areas:
- Doncaster LPC; and
- Rotherham LPC.
The service has only been added onto the Services Database under this entry to avoid duplication.
The aim of this service is to increase the availability of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) via a voucher and varenicline via a Patient Group Direction (PGD), free of charge to all clients registered with an NHS Doncaster or NHS Rotherham GP, through community pharmacies in Doncaster or Rotherham.
NRT products or varenicline will be dispensed to clients presenting a valid voucher issued by Doncaster and Rotherham Smoke Fee Services or a third party provider contracted by Doncaster and Rotherham Smoke Fee Services (vouchers are valid for 28 days from the date of issue).
