Description
Service outline:
- The pharmacy should set aside sufficient space in their practice to store the palliative care drugs detailed in the service documents.
- The pharmacy contractor has a duty to ensure that the palliative care drugs listed in service documents are available in stock.
Service description:
- The pharmacy will stock all drugs detailed on the Palliative Care drugs list compiled by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and replenish as soon as possible when dispensed or out of date.
- The pharmacy will audit stock quarterly to demonstrate stock holding to the CCG via a quarterly report from PharmOutcomes.
