Description
Designated community pharmacy contractors will agree to maintain a stock of medicines used in the treatment of palliative care to ensure patients or their representatives have easy access to palliative care medicines during normal working hours.
The pharmacy teams will also support patients, carers and clinicians by providing them with up to date information and advice and referral to specialist palliative care, where appropriate.
