Description
The core elements of the service are the provision of behavioural support and pharmacotherapy. Success is measured at 12 weeks after the Service User stops smoking, with progress assessed and an interim payment made at four weeks.
This service is only available to pregnant women.

Training
All staff involved in delivery should have been trained to National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) standards 2011 and meet level two advisor accreditation. Additional training is required for advisors offering NRT in pregnancy on this contract.
