Bolton LPC – New Contract, PCN And Pharmacy Quality Scheme Engagement Events

October 20, 2019

Attendance at this event will help you to meet the Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) Primary Care Network (PCN) domain

By attending one of these events you will understand:

  • The changes to the Pharmacy Contract and what you need to do to get ready.
  • The new Pharmacy Quality Scheme
  • Primary Care Networks (PCNs) – what are they? How are they going to change the local NHS environment? Why it’s important that pharmacy is involved – this will include starting the process to identify the lead for your PCN to meet the new PQS criterion
  • Meet the pharmacies in your network, confirm ways of working and communication between your network
  • The new Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) – what it involves and why you should get involved

The events are locality specific, please check which PCN your pharmacy is located in before booking. The PCN list can be found here. If you have any queries regarding the PCN your pharmacy has been allocated to please contact the LPC.
