Changes to the Terms of Service 2023

On 25th May 2023 new NHS regulations were introduced which made changes to the NHS (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013 (PLPS).

These changes relate to core opening hours applications, 100-hour pharmacy applications, local hours plans, business continuity plan requirements and other easements. For further information, please see our PLPS regulations change page.


Changes to the Terms of Service in late 2020

On 20th October 2020  NHS regulations were laid to introduce changes to the Terms of Service for pharmacy contractors.

Some of these changes were previously agreed upon as part of the 5-year Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) and were originally planned to be introduced in July 2020.

Regs reminders

Community Pharmacy England issued a series of reminders about the changes to the pharmacy Terms of Service from late 2020. Community pharmacy owners are advised to review these reminders in preparation for completing the Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) surveys, which will include questions on the Terms of Service.
