  • Understanding of the science of anticoagulation
  • Improved communication and networking between anticoagulation care practitioners

This is a great opportunity to learn about both warfarin and the newer oral anticoagulants.

Whilst the newer medications don’t require as much monitoring the patients do need to have some follow up with regular review of renal function, weight and age.
