Role: Locality Lead for Oldham
Qualified: MPharm (University of Manchester)
Mujahid is the locality lead for Oldham and has worked for Lloyds Pharmacy since 2013. During this time, he has worked in several different leadership roles and is now a Regional Manager for South Greater Manchester.
In more recent years, Mujahid has been involved in LPC work both in GM and across the North-West. His areas of interest include professional standards and people management, with his main passions focusing on the development of services and the overall role of the Community Pharmacist.
“I believe services are the future for community pharmacy and we have the potential to play a bigger role in primary care. The way our contractors have handled the many challenges throughout the pandemic and continued to keep our doors open throughout has been amazing, and has shown the essential support and critical services we provide for our local communities.
As an LPC we can leverage this further by using a coordinated approach through having one voice that represents GM contractors when liaising with key stakeholders. My aim is to support contractors through local challenges, promote opportunities, and help grow our businesses to support more patients to achieve better health outcomes.”
