HLP Champions (2 days) – May – Bolton



Secure your HLP Quality Payments points: Two-day Health Champions training on 22nd-23rd  May 2017.

To qualify for HLP Level 1 Quality Payments, pharmacies must have a Health Champion. We’ve arranged a two-day Health Champions training courses in partnership with Bolton LPC.

Health Champions can be any suitable member of the team e.g. a dispensing assistant, healthcare assistant or technician. The course covers how to promote health and wellbeing, how to help patients make healthy lifestyle changes, reasons behind health inequalities and ways of addressing them.

Participants will gain the national Level 2 ‘Understanding Health Improvement’ qualification recognised by the Royal Society for Public Health. There is a multiple choice test at the end of the second day.

Dates: Monday 22nd May 2017 and Tuesday 23rd May 2017

Times: 8.45am – 5pm each day (registration & coffee)

Venue: All Souls Bolton, Astley Street, BL1 8EY
