Pharmacy’s role in Greater Manchester Bowel Movement

Monday, 19 March, 2018 6.30pm-9.30pm
The Hough End Centre, Mauldeth Road West, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 7SX

Training events to help Greater Manchester pharmacies deliver this April’s mandatory public health campaign on bowel cancer screening.

Bowel cancer is the UK’s fourth most common cancer and 98% of people diagnosed early survive. Despite that, only 20% of people in some parts of Greater Manchester take up their offer of bowel cancer screening. That’s why it’s one of the six mandatory public health campaigns for all Greater Manchester pharmacies in 2018.

These events will help your pharmacy deliver the campaign successfully. Participants will learn more about the screening programme and how to promote it to patients and customers.
