Changes in Opening Hours Notification Reminder

Changes in Opening Hours Notification Reminder

October 20, 2021

The declaration of an emergency requiring the flexible provision of pharmaceutical services which was introduced to help maintain pharmacy services during the COVID-19 outbreak, has been extended to 31st January 2022

This means that contractors are still allowed to make temporary changes to opening hours or temporary closures where adequate reasons for these changes and 24 hours notice (where required) have been provided to NHSE&I.

Reminder! We are receiving increased reports of pharmacies closing without providing notification to NHSE/I. Please ensure you email notifying them of any changes when working behind closed doors or for temporary closures/suspended services.
