Mandatory campaign: Resources to help you deliver cervical cancer health campaign

February 27, 2019

The mandatory cervical cancer screening awareness health campaign starts on Friday and runs for the month of March (1st-31st March). It’s the first mandatory health campaign of 2019 for Greater Manchester community pharmacies and there are loads of resources to help you deliver the campaign successfully. Bricks-and-mortar pharmacies will receive a pack of campaign materials from 26th February. Distance-selling pharmacies can access digital campaigns materials (details below). Don’t forget to record all your activity on PharmOutcomes at the end of the month? It’s really important you do that.

It’s not too late to access training to help your pharmacy deliver this campaign, as there are still a couple of sessions left:

  • Thu 28th Feb, 6.30pm-9.30pm. Face-to-face training from GM Healthcare Academy on this campaign, plus consultation skills for women’s health. Find out more & book.
  • Mon 4th Mar, 1.30pm-3.30pm. Face-to-face training from GM Cancer Champions on this campaign. Find out more & book.

  • Campaign brief including details of the resources you can access to help you promote cervical cancer screening in your pharmacy
  • Presentation about cervical cancer and the screening programme
