NHS Community pharmacist consultation service: clinical assessment – essential skills workshop

CPPE have released additional dates for their CPCS workshops. All the events below are open to Pharmacists from the North West.

CPPE have been commissioned by HEE to run these face to face workshops to support the delivery of CPCS.  The workshops are facilitated by CPPE tutors and supported by a GP trainer and a clinical demonstrator.

Participants work through the following topics:

  • person-centred history taking
  • clinical assessment and red flags
  • common clinical examinations
  • safety netting and referrals.

The day includes brief presentations, demon­stration, group work, case studies and a practical session to practice a range of basic clinical examinations and observa­tions. The GP trainer will share exam­ples of best practice and experiences from their own practice.
