Quality Payments: New HLP criteria

Quality Payments: New HLP criteria

April 25, 2018

There are some important changes to the criteria for HLP Level 1 Quality Payments. Although around 95% of local pharmacies claimed HLP Quality Payments in 2017/18, they must check the new criteria or could end up being unable to claim in June.

Read the new HLP Level 1 Quality Payments criteria here (under ‘How to achieve this quality criterion’) and make sure you check your eligibility carefully, as the dates in each category have been updated. The key change is for pharmacies that were previously exempt from completing the profession-led self-assessment of compliance; some will now have to complete this self-assessment of compliance and keep it on file in their premises although they will not have to complete RSPH registration.
