Substance Misuse Issues Survey

Substance Misuse Issues Survey

January 14, 2020

Some contractors have raised concerns with both Bolton LPC and Greater Manchester LPC around changes to arrangements with prescriptions from the Drug and Alcohol Treatment (DAAT) Team. To help the LPCs assess the scale of the issue, so that we can support you, please take a couple of minutes to complete this short survey.

The nature of concerns raised were very worrying, especially over the festive period where prescriptions were not ready or clinics were closed without advance notice. Furthermore, there were instances where the prescriptions were dropped to incorrect pharmacies. Whilst much of this is concerning, it is currently anecdotal which is why we have put the survey together to ascertain the extent and depth of the issues. The survey covers the common points raised but also allows for any further comments.

From the LPCs’ perspective we need to collate information to define the baseline and understand which localities are having issues and what types of issues?

The survey will be open until 5pm on Monday 20th January and we appreciate your feedback. Only with your feedback can we engage the commissioner effectively on your behalf.
