Your Medicines Matter toolkit
Your Medicines Matter is a Greater Manchester campaign encouraging patients to bring their own medicines with them to hospital to enhance clinical safety and patient care (e.g. by reducing the risk of missed doses). Patients are being asked to bring their current medication with them whenever they attend hospital, including:
- Outpatient appointments
- Emergency attendances (A&E, minor injuries etc)
- Daycase treatments
- Inpatient stays
Community pharmacies are being sent posters and flyers to promote the campaign to their patients/customers. You can also access the toolkit below which includes suggested tweets and Facebook messages, a display for patient information screens, screensavers for pharmacy staff, and electronic copies of posters, flyers and so on. This letter explains more about the Your Medicines Matter campaign, which is endorsed by Greater Manchester commissioners and Greater Manchester LPC.
