Top tips for a successful flu vaccination service
We’ve produced a one-page guide to help you deliver a really successful flu vaccination service.
Promoting your NHS flu vaccinations: Free GMLPC resources
Greater Manchester LPC is producing free packs to help you publicise your NHS flu vaccination service. The packs include posters, pop-up display cards, flyers, balloons, prescription bag stickers, button badges, and a window sticker. Packs will be distributed by mid-September to pharmacies who have ordered them. We may have some spare copies – if you would like one, contact us on email@example.com.
PSNC guidance and advice
PSNC have also produced good guidance on providing and promoting flu vaccinations, including details of how to ensure you’re eligible for payment and how to promote your service through local community groups. You can access it here.

Public Health England – Stay Well This Winter packs
All pharmacies in England will receive free packs from Public Health England to help you promote Stay Well This Winter and flu vaccinations. These are the generic national resources and are also suitable for pharmacies that are not providing flu vaccinations. They include information about nasal flu vaccinations in GP practices for children aged two to three.
Phase 1 of the Stay Well This Winter campaign will promote flu vaccinations – it will run in October 2017. Phase 2 of the campaign will encourage people to stay well by stocking up at their local pharmacist and going to their pharmacy at the first sign of illness – it will run in November and December 2017.
