Drug Alerts: Procedure for disseminating patient safety information

Purpose: Promote the safety of service users who may be at risk of serious illness or death as a consequence of their substance use. 

Process: Widespread dissemination of information regarding identified risks (eg contaminated heroin) to service users, carers, Pharmacies, GP’s and partner agencies.

Please find attached a drug alert.
It has been reported that some adulterated Heroin has been sold in the Battersea area.
