Condom Supply
SH are commissioned to supply those pharmacists who provide EHC under PGD with packs of condoms to offer when they issue the EHC, this is detailed in the Service Specification. These condoms are only permitted for this use and are supplied on a quarterly basis.
All pharmacists are contacted regularly (in person and by email/telephone) and offered support and the opportunity to request further supplies of condoms, chlamydia testing kits and promotional materials. When each pharmacist is visited (in person by a member of staff from ISH Services) they are asked to sign for receipt of visit attached, we retain this record.

A free range of information and resources to support you in the delivery of EHC and Chlamydia Screening Public Health community based service from Public Health.
The new EHC posters and window stickers have been produced in consultation with local young people and replace the old ‘pink’ laminated posters so please remove these and use the new images.

The required online modules (EHC and contraception, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults) can be accessed at the CPPE website

For additional training you can access a free e-learning module titled ‘Introduction to Sexual Health and Teenage Pregnancy Training‘. The aim of this module is to provide practitioners with an introduction to the topic and related issues namely; legal issues & implications for practice, contraceptive methods and access to services> the training link is provided below:
