Aims and objectives of the Service

An agreement between the Local Authority and the Provider for the provision of local NSCP Chlamydia, Screening, Test, and Treatment community based service.

  • This service will be provided by the Provider for all registered patients aged 15-24 years only, unless otherwise agreed by the Local Authority
  • To provide targeted and opportunistic Chlamydia screening to 15-24 year olds who are sexually active and resident in Leicestershire County & Rutland
  • To provide treatment and initiate partner notification processes for all provider patients aged 15-24 years who have a positive diagnosis, to prevent onward transmission and sequelae

Claiming payment

This Service has been procured through the Any Qualified Provider route and is a private commercial contractual arrangement between the Service Commissioners and the successful pharmacies that have been awarded the bid.
