GP-CPCS Implementation & Support Lead

The post holder will report to the Chief Officer (CO).

Role Summary

The post holder will:

  • Provide first line support to contractors on GP-CPCS.
  • Work with contractors, GPs, PCNs and other stakeholder to develop and deliver GP-CPCS across Nottinghamshire – focusing on service delivery to benefit contractors and patients.
  • Use data to inform decisions and assist contractors in delivering GP-CPCS in their businesses.
  • Increase the visibility of the Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) amongst contractors & stakeholders with regard to GP-CPCS.


  • Essential – Previous experience coaching teams and/or individuals
  • Essential – Excellent communication skills
  • Essential – Ability to manage own time
  • Essential – Knowledge of Community Pharmacy or wider NHS
  • Desirable – Pharmacy qualification recognised by GPhC
  • Desirable – Confident IT skills and ability to manipulate data within Microsoft Excel
  • Desirable – Existing knowledge of the health landscape locally

The role is declared as being based in Cotgrave but as this is a remote working role, based from home, the post holder will need to travel across the Nottinghamshire area we would therefore welcome applicants based anywhere within this geography.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience, 8-10 hours per week:

Nature of employment: Fixed term contract of 12 months subject to 3-month probationary period
