CPCF Roadshow – London
Sunday, 22 September, 2019 14:00-16:00
Holiday Inn - Regents Park, London
This is one of a series of Sunday roadshow events for community pharmacists across England, hosted by PSNC Chief Executive Simon Dukes and his team.
The events are being held to help community pharmacy contractors and anyone working in community pharmacies to understand the new five-year deal on the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF).
Update: 19th September 2019
Unfortunately, despite a maximum capacity of 380 people, we have had to close online registrations today due to the popularity of this event. If you would like to attend the event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 4pm on Friday 20th September when we will check if any final places are available. Our sincere apologies go to any contractors who are not able to attend this Roadshow. To allow all contractors to learn about the five-year funding settlement and to ask questions of the team we are holding a digital CPCF Roadshow on Wednesday 2nd October at 7.30pm. This Roadshow will follow the same format as the regional events, with presentations from Simon Dukes, PSNC CEO, and the PSNC team, followed by a Q&A session. Contractors can sign up to this Roadshow online, and a recording will also be available to listen to after the event for anyone unable to make this date. Contractors are also welcome to sign up for our upcoming Roadshows in Walsall and Manchester, or to join us at the Pharmacy Show on October 6th. The PSNC team are also available to answer any questions on the five-year deal via email@example.com
Members of PSNC’s Negotiating Team will explain the context of the deal and what it means for pharmacies, and there will be lots of opportunity to share views and ask questions of the team. The events are an opportunity to explore what the future holds for your pharmacy; to help prepare yourself and your team for that; and to hold PSNC to account for the decisions it has made.
This event will cover:
- Understanding the five-year deal and what it means for your pharmacy;
- Why PSNC agreed to the deal, with the chance to ask questions of the Negotiating Team;
- Preparations for the introduction of the new Community Pharmacist Consultation Service;
- The Pharmacy Quality Scheme;
- Understanding how pharmacies need to start preparing for the future; and
- The wider NHS context and your new local health and care structures.
Date: Sunday 22nd September
Time: 2pm-4pm, with registration open from 1.30pm
Although this event is free to attend, community pharmacists and their teams are asked to register in advance.
