Are you using Microsoft Teams?

Some community pharmacy contractors are now starting to use the Microsoft Teams functionality available to them via their NHSmail accounts. This includes using voice and video calling, and instant messaging functionality with colleagues in general practices and also using Teams to undertake video consultations with patients.

The NHSmail team upgraded pharmacy NHSmail accounts in winter 2020 and this enabled pharmacy NHSmail users to use a range of Microsoft Office 365 apps and features, including Teams. For those unfamiliar with the software, Teams is a video conferencing program enabling audio and video calls via an internet connection.

PSNC’s NHSmail MS Teams and upgrade factsheet outlines the improvements made to pharmacy personal NHSmail accounts during the upgrade, including the Teams functionality.
