Briefing for general practice teams on changes to the CPCF 2021/22

The PSNC Services Team has produced a two-page summary Briefing for general practice teams on the changes to the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) in 2021/22, which are likely to be of interest to them.

The Briefing covers the main changes to the New Medicine Service, information on the Hypertension case-finding service and the revised Pharmacy Quality Scheme.

Contractors may want to consider using the Briefing to aid local discussions with their GP practices on the changes to the contract and why additional referrals may be made to their practices. Pharmacy PCN Leads may find the Briefing useful as a tool to engage with their PCN Clinical Director and LPCs may also want to consider sharing it with Local Medical Committees to aid discussions on collaborative working between pharmacy and general practice teams.
