The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued a class 2 pharmacy level medicines recall, to be actioned within 48 hours for the following:

Martindale Pharmaceuticals Limited is recalling a batch of Bisacodyl 10mg Suppositories due to an issue with homogeneity. This may result in individual suppositories containing too little or too much active substance.

Please quarantine all remaining stock of the above batch and return it to your supplier using your supplier’s approved process.
