CPPE launches Introduction to public health e-course

October 11, 2017

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) has launched a new e-learning programme, Introduction to public health.

The self-directed course enables learners to develop knowledge and acquire skills to help integrate public health into routine pharmacy practice. This course aligns itself to the nine professional standards outlined in the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Professional standards for public health practice for pharmacy.

This course may be of interest to pharmacy professionals who are working at a pharmacy that is aiming to achieve Healthy Living Pharmacy Level 1 self-assessment status. Completion of the course can form part of the evidence required to demonstrate awareness of local public health and pharmaceutical needs as detailed in Public Health England’s HLP Level 1 quality criteria.
