Reminder: Last day to submit FP34C through MYS for earlier advance payment

To secure access to earlier advance payments on 12 January 2022, contractors must submit their December 2021 FP34Cs through the Manage Your Service (MYS) portal no later than 6 January 2022.
Contractors who submit their December FP34C figures late through MYS (after 6 January) or continue to declare using the paper FP34C submission document will NOT receive any earlier advance payments and instead, receive their advance payments in accordance with the normal payment timetable.
With New Year’s Day (1st January 2022) falling on a Saturday and its substitute bank holiday (Monday 3rd January) occurring in the first five days of the FP34C submission window, contractors have an extra day, until the end of 6th of January, to submit their December FP34Cs and dispatch their prescription bundle to the relevant pricing division at the NHSBSA. The extended submission deadline applies in any month where one or more bank holiday occurs during the first five days of the month. In these months, the earlier advance payment date will remain as four working days from the extended submission/dispatch deadline of the 6th of the month.
Please note the requirement to submit electronic Claim Notification (CN) messages or Electronic Reimbursement Endorsement Messages (EREMs) within the first 5 days remains unchanged. CN messages and EREMs for prescriptions dispensed in December 2021 must continue to be submitted by 5 January 2022.
To benefit from earlier advance payments, contractors still relying on the paper FP34C submission route are strongly encouraged to submit their December declaration through the MYS portal by the 6 January. The paper FP34C submission document will only be available until March 2022 (i.e. for prescriptions dispensed in February 2022). From April 2022 (i.e. for prescriptions dispensed in March 2022) MYS will be the ONLY route for all monthly submissions.
