Free campaign material to support ‘We Are Undefeatable’

December 15, 2020

We Are Undefeatable’ is an award-winning campaign and movement supporting people with a range of long term health conditions, developed by 15 leading health and social care charities and backed by expertise, insight and significant National Lottery funding from Sport England.

Its purpose is to support and encourage finding ways to be active that work with each person’s conditions, not against them.

Around 43% of people over the age of 16 in England are living with a long-standing illness or condition and those numbers are rising. People with health conditions are twice as likely to be inactive despite strong evidence for the positive role of physical activity in the prevention and management of long-term conditions.

‘We Are Undefeatable’ features the experiences of people with long-term health conditions getting active despite the ups, downs and unpredictability of their condition. Being Undefeatable is celebrating every victory big or small, understanding that motivation changes from day-to-day, and that moving more when you can, is just as important as accepting when you cannot.
