Get involved: Help test referrals into the NHS Digital Weight Management Programme (PQS)
PSNC, on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I), is seeking to recruit volunteers to participate in testing the referral process for the NHS Digital Weight Management Programme.
Identifying people who would benefit from weight management advice and onward referral, including to the recently introduced NHS Digital Weight Management Programme, is a quality criterion of the recently announced 2021/22 Pharmacy Quality Scheme. By volunteering, contractors will help shape the referral process and have early sight of this before the PQS starts on 1st September 2021.
How to get involved
To volunteer, please email it@cpe.org.uk with ‘Weight management referral pilot’ in the subject title. Please confirm your ODS code, pharmacy name, your name or the member of staff’s name who has agreed to participate and a contact telephone number for the person who is volunteering to be involved. This information will then be passed to the NHSE&I project team to arrange the testing pilot.
