Launch of a new PPE ordering portal
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), in partnership with the NHS Supply Chain, are launching a new personal protective equipment (PPE) portal platform. Its launch will continue to ensure free access to PPE and related items for eligible users until the end of March 2023.
Community pharmacy contractors who have used the current PPE portal, should receive an email to their pharmacy’s NHSmail shared mailbox email address during week commencing 7th March 2022 from email@example.com with the subject line ‘Welcome to the PPE Portal’. This email will list the steps contractors need to take to register and log-in to their account on the new PPE portal platform.
If contractors have registered for the current PPE portal, but have not actively used their account, they should receive the above ‘Welcome to the PPE portal’ email during week commencing 21st March 2022.
